The Studio

The studio is equipped with Elinchrom flash heads, available with soft boxes (Recta and 70 cm Square) 26cm reflectors, honeycombs, barn doors, umbrellas, snoot, colour filters and diffusion filters. A range of tungsten units are available for continuous light video and digital work.

 A studio camera stand and back drops are also provided. Chairs, stools and props are available. Feel free to discuss any special settings which you require, we are keen to help. Drapes and silks for classical nudes are also to hand. There is a separate room for make up and hair styling. 
Other rooms are available for boudoir photos.

Using the studio

Most photographers will wish to use their own cameras but for those who do not, a range of equipment is available to hire.

35mm Nikon Film. 24, 50, 35-70, 80-200mm.

 Medium format Hasselblad. 50, 80, 150mm

 Digital using the Nikon D100. Lenses X 1.5

 Assistance can be given to less experienced photographers with setting up and using equipment.

The model register includes male models. New models as well as established ones are always welcome to join the register free of charge. 
All models have a set of images placed on the web site to assist photographers in their selection. 
Sessions are for a minimum of one hour with one photographer. Rates vary for models dependent on experience, requirements and extra photographers. The models details indicate which types of photography they will undertake their minimum time booking and whether or not they will do video work.
Fees are payable to the models in cash at the end of the session, and may not be inclusive of a release.
Studio time is charged at £20.00 per hour £40.00 for 2 hours  £50 for 3 hours and £60.00 for 4 hours and can be booked from 10.00am  to 10.00pm. 
 Photographers who have their own models available are welcome to book the studio space. All models will need age verification ID and models under 18 will require a parent or guardian with ID to sign modelling consent forms.
