There is a fully equipped salon for make up and hair styling as well as a second changing room in the studio.

Feel free to discuss any special settings which you require, we are keen to help. 

The Studio

The studio is equipped with 3 Strobe studio flash systems. Comprising power packs to power  swimming pools(5ft x 4ft softlights), fish fryers (3ft x 2 ft Softlights) striplights and profile focus spot unit for projecting patterns.

Monobloc units from Bowens and Elinchrom are available with soft boxes (Recta and 70 cm Square) 26cm reflectors, honeycombs, barn doors, umbrellas, snoot, colour filters and diffusion filters.

A range of HMI (daylight arc) and tungsten units from redheads and broads to  profile and fresnel lights 1k, 2k, and 5K are available for video and continuous light digital work.

 A vast array of stands and support rigging is available including camera stands and tripods.

 Back drops and paper rolls are also available along with chairs, stools and props. Drapes and silks for classical nudes are also to hand.

Using the studio

Most photographers will wish to use their own cameras but for those who do not, a range of equipment is available to hire.

35mm Nikon Film. 24, 50, 35-70, 80-200mm.

 Medium format Hasselblad. 50, 80, 150 and 250mm

Digital Sinarcam  for Hasselblad

 Digital using the Nikon D100. Lenses X 1.5

 Assistance can be given to less experienced photographers with setting up and using equipment.

 

 New models as well as established ones are always welcome to join the register free of charge. 
All models have a set of images placed on the web site to assist photographers in their selection. 
Sessions are for a minimum of one hour with one photographer. Rates vary for models dependent on experience, requirements and extra photographers.

 The models details indicate which types of photography they will undertake their minimum time booking and whether or not they will do video work.
Fees are payable to the models in cash at the end of the session, and may not be inclusive of a release.

 Photographers who have their own models available are welcome to book the studio space. All models will need age verification ID and models under 18 will require a parent or guardian with ID to sign modelling consent forms.
